At 19, Chiropractic Care Relieved My Allergies
My first visit to a chiropractor was at age 19. After being adjusted for a couple of months my severe allergies were gone. The connection as to
why, was unknown to me at the time. My chiropractor persuaded me to abandon my plans to enter a Doctoral program in Psychology, in favor of helping people through chiropractic.
It was then that the importance of the nervous system and its connection with all other systems including the immune system became clear. It was there that I found my love for the philosophy of chiropractic, where the self-evident principles couple with science, reasonably. The wisdom that made this incredibly complex, intelligent body runs and heals it.
Returning to Chiropractic
After graduation from Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic, I opened my own office. However after 11 years, I gave up my practice to devote my time to being a full time mom and home schooling my two children.
My children are now grown and on their own, and my mind gravitated toward chiropractic once again. As life goes on and we age, having the best quality of life becomes paramount.
Outside the office, I spend most of my time with my husband. We enjoy many sports, refereeing basketball, and hanging out with our 2 retrievers and cat. Our family has gone on several mission trips, my last one to a Nigerian orphanage for 2 weeks in June.
